There is no better feeling in the world than waking up in the morning with perfectly fluttering lashes with no need for mascara or falsies. Getting up and going about your day with beautiful lashes and no need to remove mascara at night – absolute heaven! I have found my favourite little lash place and it comes in the form of All Eyes on Me and it’s right in my home town of Cumbernauld. Situated in Condorrat, All Eyes on Me is Cumbernauld’s only lash bar and training centre, with specifically trained technicians who are as friendly as they are talented.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile and instantly felt completely at home – this was helped by the plush throws and atmospheric lighting, and the relaxing Buddha’s creating peace throughout the salon. The mirrors have Hollywood lights surrounding, and the flooring is pale grey wood. The ‘All Eyes on Me’ logo proudly watches over the salon (literally, as it’s a huge cobalt blue eye complete with fluffy lashes and Leanne’s name – the owner – in bold next to it).

An All Eyes on Me pop up stands next to a ring light and there is a beautiful space for make up as well as a nail bar underneath a huge blue dream catcher, again creating a peaceful atmosphere. A Buddha stands beside two crushed velvet grey curtains that lead through to the lash lounge, and hearts swing from the curtain tie backs. Going through the curtains the first thing that catches your eye is a huge hand-painted grey and purple Buddha with lotus flower, it’s such a striking image and really focuses your attention to the relaxing vibes of the lash lounge. Beds sit with grey plush throws, that are so soft to touch and create a feel of being in your own home. When you lie down to get your lashes done you can have one of the throws over you which I definitely would recommend as it’s so comfy!

My lashes were done by Kirsty, and by the time the appointment was done (about an hour and a half) it felt like time had passed so quickly because we chatted the full way through lashing me up! The difference was crazy, as I have really thin, fine eyelashes which are short and straight. I rely on false lashes every day and so to be able to have ‘naturally’ curly, wispy and long lashes I was so grateful! I’m so happy with the results as I have never had the confidence to go out without make up before and especially not on my eyes so to be able to give people the confidence and courage to do this and feel good about themselves is a real skill to have. The lashes have made my eyes pop!

I went for the classic look and I can’t wait to try Russian lashes nearer Christmas! All they need is a little brush through daily and there we go! I will go for a top up and then a new set and I couldn’t live without them!
