Red Alert! Hot pieces for V-Day round Glasgow
It’s that time of year when love is in the air, things are heating up and the world is full of heart-eye emoji’s. You know I love to shop local, and I’ve found some gorgeous and affordable pieces round Glasgow and the surrounding areas that will make the perfect Valentine’s date night outfit or a perfect gift for that special someone.
Love It! Boutique
On Paisley Road West, it’s hard to walk past this lush window display by Shirley and Joanne at Love It! *DISCLAIMER* I am not included! I went along to find some Valentine’s inspiration and ended up as one of their mannequins in between red blouses, blazers and of course the glittering scarlet hearts shimmering above me! It’s so much fun in that little shop with such a welcoming and friendly environment, and the ladies have really got into the loving spirit featuring so many reds this season, which I adore! I think red is a colour that stays classy, no matter what situation.
The jumpsuit I have on is from Lavish Alice and can be yours for £85! It can be worn with sandals in metallic silver or gold or my favourite, a pair of nude court shoes! The ladies have a fab range of clothes from casual to occasion wear to get you in the mood for love, and they also stock Orli and Katie Wu jewellery to finish off that look, or to buy as a Valentine’s gift! The perfect present for an accessory fan, both styles of jewellery are equally as beautiful. I particularly love the heart designs on the Orli jewellery, so pop along and have a look and a cuppa with the ladies!

As soon as Deborah from PSA showed me this dress I was like “this is amazing for a Valentine’s Date!” I just love the sweet sugar pink with a splash of daring bright red at the bottom… and then when you turn around boom boom BOOM you have full sexy senorita RED! It’s bold, bright, daring and super glam yet understated and classy because of the cut of the neckline and the small split at the thigh. The look would be perfect with a diamond sparkling choker! Fall in love with the Sierra dress this Valentine’s… it can be yours for £54! Princess Angel Star is another one of my favourites with a gorgeous local lady running the online clothing boutique making designer and high street more affordable and everything is just that little bit more unique and something different to what everyone else has! Inside the Forge Inshops you can find the hidden gem that is Aleena’s Boutique, full of unique pieces and great inspiration for Valentine’s Day! If you’re going on a date during the day, daytime drinks or even want to get into the loving spirit on the lead up to V-Day then this grey jumper with a read heart is for you! Look no further if you’re needing some V-Day shoes, these stunning red stud stilettos with multi-coloured straps are just what you need to match any outfit and make it a show stopper! Inspired by the Valentino Rockstud shoes but at £69.99 they are affordable and look fabulous! Available in sizes 3-6, grab a pair and slay!
This is one of my favourites ever so I had to include it… I just adore this little red Ada dress that I picked up at the boutique last year, and it’s perfect for Valentine’s Day – they still have some online for £65! It’s absolutely stunning. The gorgeous bandage dress features an open crossover front with a mesh stripe skirt. It fastens with a rear concealed zip and clip and has great support inside. It looks absolutely WOW on and is one you can wear time and time again! I love Deja Elite for classic bandage styles and also full-on glitzy glam for those extra special occasions!
